“Marketing Manager” covers two quite different jobs, and we saw both in postings live in September 2026: a demand-generation manager at a B2B SaaS company asking for 5+ years of pipeline-driving campaign work, and a social media lead at an HR-tech company asking for 5-7 years of brand storytelling and community management. If you’re applying broadly, read which flavor a specific posting actually wants before you lead with the wrong projects.

How to use this without keyword-stuffing

Don’t try to be both flavors on one resume. If the posting wants demand generation, lead with pipeline numbers and CRM ownership; if it wants brand and social, lead with content you made and communities you grew. Once you have the actual job description, paste it in below with your resume to see which of its specific requirements you’ve already covered.
